The window you see behind me in the photo to your right was the setting for my first glimpse of cosmic magic--a shooting star.
I was 5.
Being curious and nosy, head strong and absolutely fascinated with anything mysterious, unusual or unexplained it was only 2 years after this photo was taken that I discovered--in the adult books section of the library--that a whole universe of intriguing wisdom and theories and possibilities existed,,,

ASTROLOGY.....! It did not include my beloved falling star but it did share that stars home. I was hooked....

I am a long, long ways--in years, in beliefs, in convictions--from my star and the little girl in the photo.....but the mind and soul food that was important to me then (some shows in the photo) is still important to me now.....
